About Us

The Dadaism movement stood for breaking from the norm and defying tradition. With this sandal, we set out to do exactly that, creating something new from something old.

At Walk with Dada, we're redefining the everyday sandal with the **Dada Original**: a minimalist, convertible design made for effortless style and all-day comfort. Rooted in versatility and timeless appeal, its utilitarian silhouette balances classic and modern.

Produced in small batches, each pair is made intentionally, not excessively. We believe in buying fewer things and wearing them often, choosing pieces that move with you and last beyond a single season.

Walking is at the heart of everything we do. It's how we slow down, stay present, and experience the world around us. The Dada Original is made for real life — meant to be walked in, lived in, and taken wherever the day leads.

Our founders, Danielle and Courtney, applied a slow and mindful approach, guided by podiatric standards, creating a sophisticated design that focuses on comfort and quality.

Danielle Anderson

Pensacola, FL

Hobbies: Cooking and trying new restaurants, staying active, and going to see live music.
Why Dada: Growing up, I was always taught the importance of comfortable shoes and I've worn sandals for as long as I can remember. Having moved away from the beach, first to NYC and now to Atlanta, I needed a pair of sandals that would grow with me. I couldn't find them out there, so I decided to create my own.
Design influence: Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. Their effortless approach to style and fashion is iconic.
What makes her laugh: Seeing my sons, Leo Driggs and Roscoe, laugh at something. Their pure, belly-laugh reactions to something new are completely infectious. And COURTNEY, one of the funniest people on the planet, hands down.
How she wears them: My favorite thing about our dadas is not having to spend extra time styling them. They go with everything from athletic shorts to dresses and everything in between.

Courtney Bolton

Jacksonville, FL

Hobbies: Spending time with my daughter and husband, working out, exploring everything outdoors in beautiful St. Pete, FL, going to the beach, and a recently found love for Mahjong!
Why Dada: Dada is a creative outlet and expression of Danielle and I's style. We have a passion for the retail and fashion industry having worked in it for over 11 years. We are both new moms and didn't want to sacrifice our style for comfort. Dada is a way to keep our outfits and lifestyle simple, comfortable, and chic.
Design influence: Love a classic and iconic presence like Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy — her style continues to influence to this day.
What makes her laugh: My husband and daughter! And Danielle :)
How she wears them: Dada can be worn for work or play. Living in Florida, I am constantly in sandals. But, I love that I can transition to any environment in my dadas. I have them in every color (obviously) and love to wear them with a casual floral dress or black trousers to work!
